Marcelo Bielsa will not be Everton's coach. At least, not this January. As reported by the Daily Mail, the Argentine coach has decided to reject the proposal of the 'toffees' to take over the reins of the team after the dismissal of Frank Lampard.
Bielsa, who is without a club following his departure from Leeds, traveled to London to meet with Everton's top brass, but according to reports the Argentine would like to start his own project from scratch next summer.
Sean Dyche, the chosen one
The English team cannot wait that long, given that they are fighting to keep the category. They are second last in the standings with 15 points, although with salvation at two points. That is why they have launched their 'plan B', which would be Sean Dyche. The Englishman spent 10 years at Burnley, which he helped to grow to the elite and is looking for a new challenge in the Premier League.
The positions are very close, so his appointment could be a matter of hours. According to the English press, Dyche will sign a contract that will bind him to Everton until 2025.
His first goal will be to boost the flight of a team that is in a slump and achieve permanence.
