Arsenal looked as the team with the most possibilities of signing Ukrainian Mykhaylo Mudryk, the young talent from Shakhtar Donetsk, but the latest information coming from England suggests that Chelsea would have surpassed the 'Gunners' in the bid for his signing. In this scenario, Arsenal is still looking for a winger to strengthen the squad in this winter transfer window and one of the names they have on the agenda is Raphinha from Barcelona.
Raphinha was already in Arsenal's orbit last summer, but the Brazilian was clear that his dream was to play for Barça and he waited until he could sign his arrival at the Camp Nou. After a few months, Arsenal could return to the charge for Raphinha, and according to 'SportItalia', the English club has already contacted Barça about the viability of a possible signing during the month of January, although they have not yet submitted any formal offer.
Edu, Sports Director at Arsenal, is a great admirer of Raphinha's game and Mudryk's refusal opens the possibility of the Gunners betting on the Brazilian. In any case, Barça should cash in, at least, the €58 million plus 7 in variables that they paid to sign him from Leeds this past summer.
