The idea of Joao Félix leaving Atlético Madrid gains strength every day. As soon as the pieces fit together, the Portuguese will leave the ‘Colchonero’ club either in this winter market or in the summer.
In any case, it will be no easy task: We’re talking about an operation that’d need around 140 million euro to be completed. That is what Atlético Madrid demands to let the most expensive signing in the club’s history go. Very few teams can afford such an operation under these conditions. And some, like Bayern Munich, have already jumped off the boat.
That is why the option of a 'plan B' is brewing. According to the English press, the ‘Colchonero’ club would even be willing to let the Portuguese go on loan, although with some demands.
As published by the Daily Mirror, the player's loan would cost no less than eight million euros and would only be agreed until the end of this season... without a purchase option. In addition, the club that agreed to João Félix would have to pay the entire salary.
The aforementioned newspaper states that Manchester United and Arsenal remain the strongest options, although the Londoners are also keeping an eye on Mudryk, from Shakhtar Donetsk, as a possible replacement for Gabriel Jesús, who will miss several months of the season due to a knee surgery.
