Sneako was attacked while livestreaming in New York City on Tuesday, April 14, in a moment that quickly spread across social media.
Video of the confrontation surfaced online soon after it happened, though what sparked the altercation is still unknown.
Not long after the incident, Sneako took to X, formerly Twitter, to let followers know he was okay and already planning to return online.
“Im fine we got it handled. Going live again in an hour for Professor Jiang X Dave Smith,” he wrote.
Despite the attack, Sneako was back on livestream shortly afterward and gave viewers his version of events.
He said the situation felt strange and questioned whether it was really a random act.
“I got hit, you can see it in the video. I got hit a few times, I get up and immediately [he] pulls out mase and runs away. This doesn’t make sense that it was a random person,” he explained.
