FC Barcelona have been monitoring Víctor Muñoz (22), an Osasuna winger, for several weeks. The player made his debut for the Spanish national team yesterday, scoring in a 3-0 win over Serbia.
The information was first reported by Mundo Deportivo last Thursday and later picked up by multiple outlets.
That same report already noted that, given Muñoz joined Osasuna from Real Madrid and Los Blancos still retain certain rights over him, there are factors causing hesitation within Barcelona regarding a potential move.

Real Madrid hold a buyback option for three consecutive years each June: €8 million in 2026, €9 million in 2027, and €10 million in 2028.
In addition, with a release clause set at €40 million, Madrid would be entitled to 50 percent of any transfer fee Osasuna receive.
The Navarrese club, for their part, have no intention of selling and would only consider a departure if the full clause is paid.
Under those conditions, the €40 million fee would effectively be split evenly between Osasuna and Real Madrid.
This is precisely one of the key factors Barcelona are weighing as they decide whether to pursue the attacker.
The prospect of €20 million flowing into Madrid’s accounts makes the deal particularly sensitive.
Even so, the Barcelona-born forward, who previously came through La Masia, is highly regarded at the club.
Muñoz, who is capable of playing across all three attacking positions, is primarily viewed at Barça as a left winger, the role typically occupied by Raphinha.
Although players like Rashford, Fermín, and Olmo have filled in on the flank during the Brazilian’s absence, Hansi Flick currently lacks a profile in his squad that truly replicates Raphinha’s attributes.
Muñoz’s ability to sustain high-intensity runs and his added edge in one-on-one situations make him an appealing option as a potential backup to the Brazilian.
According to the specialized website Transfermarkt, Víctor Muñoz currently has a market value of €20 million. When he joined Osasuna, his valuation stood at just €1 million.
Last winter, the Navarrese club received offers for him, including bids from England exceeding €20 million, but chose to reject them. Now, following his call-up to the national team, his value has risen further.
